We are a not-for-profit organisation, originally conceived in the culture-rich cafés of Vienna where we’ve been inspiring writers since 2018.
For emerging writers, for occasional writers, for expressive writers, for imaginative writers - our aim at Sunday Writers' Club is to help you carve out a little time and space from your busy schedule for developing your love of writing.

Sunday Sessions
Vienna Café €10 | Online €5 per session
We host unique creative writing sessions, both in Viennese cafés and online for writers everywhere. Our unique sessions kick-off at 10am CET. It’s not only about the writing, we love to share our brand-new just-written stories and poems too.

Writing Retreat
June 2025 | Burg Rappottenstein, Austria
In May-June 2025 we are planning our third creative writing retreat to Burg Rappottenstein in the Waldviertel in Austria. Perched high a hilltop, this never-conquered fortress becomes our home for a long weekend providing space for workshops, discussions and to write, read and relax with fellow adventurous authors. Launched in the autumn 2023, we are proud to introduce our first ever collection of Sunday Writers’ Club writing. All of the 25 stories, poems and personal reflections you’ll find inside were inspired by our SWC prompt menus and were written during one of our Sunday Creative Writing Sessions.
