1 How could we believe there was a distance between us
2 Sending all those smoke signs from our writing caves
3 Luck and doom between the lines, it rolls in short waves
4 Paint the ghost town red with a writing pen
5 The day is cold, the tea most herbal
6 Our lives on hold till lines get verbal
7 How could we believe there was a distance between us

Waves coming up and down

Shivers on the earth like those
running down your spine

it’s melting away like Antarctica

in a coastal town in Africa

These songs and poetry make the distance between us smaller I think. Thank you Tamara and Dagmar. As with other prompts it’s always amazing to see (or hear) the different outcomes. I love the image of the smoke signs from our writing caves and the idea that distance melts away like Antarctica.
